Who is the Travel OG?

Born in Chicago, raised in South Central and the San Fernando Valley, Richie Mac has been in the music, movie and television industry for over 30 years.  Starting with "Hollywood Shuffle," Richie Mac has been in movies such as "House Party" and done voice-overs for, "Cars 2," "Angry Birds," "South Park" and "The Boondocks"

He caught the bug for traveling while filming a series of Coor's Light commercials in Canada and then went on to do over 50 national commercials including Fortune 500 companies: McDonald's, Coca Cola, Popeyes, IBM and DisneyWorld.

After getting divorced, Richie Mac began to travel to over 20 countries around the world including: Canada, Jamaica, Spain, Brazil, Amsterdam, Australia, France, Philippines, England, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic ending up in Thailand on the way to Vietnam and Cambodia.

In March of 2020, the World changed. He had an option to stay in Thailand or head back to the U.S and he's been living in Thailand ever since.

While living in Thailand, Richie Mac (The Travel OG) created the World’s first travel podcast from Thailand. “ZOOM TO THAILAND!” is the first stop of a worldwide tour bringing you the best in travel, celebrity and Pop culture interviews along with visually exploring the best travel destinations and the world’s most beautiful people.
